    How it works

Ninety minutes is a decision drill, not a hackathon.

You are judged on choosing one idea over three others and defending it — not on what you can build in ninety minutes.

    Three or four people

Three is the minimum, four the maximum. The fourth member is optional.

    Roles follow the order

Member 1 leads, 2 makes the deck, 3 researches. A fourth picks one of two more.

Five slides, cutoff at 3:36 pm

Problem · Idea · How it works · Impact · Ask. Late decks are not judged.

    Laptop or phone

Whichever you work faster on. A phone is enough for all of it. Come charged — sockets are not guaranteed.

    Any AI app you like

For research and for building the slides. Closed when you choose the idea, and when you pitch.

    Nothing prepared in advance

The challenges are handed out at the venue. A pre-built deck removes a team.

    Minute by minute

    Splitting the ninety minutes

Seven blocks between 2:30 and 4:00. Orange means AI is allowed; red means it is closed.

Organisers: the pitch block is the constraint

The 24-minute pitch block fits 8 teams. Beyond that, run parallel pods with a judge each.

Only the pitch block needs separating — the first 66 minutes fit in one hall.

    Rule 1.5

    Five roles, assigned by position

Nobody picks the first three — they follow the order you register in. Only a fourth member has a choice, between the last two.

    Members 1, 2 and 3 — fixed

Member 4, if you have one — pick one

    If you are not three

    AI policy

AI is a tool here, not a contestant

Use it for research and slides. The two blocks that decide the winner — choosing the idea, and the pitch — are AI-free.
